In response to the current COVID-19 situation evolving, Reid’s Place would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we have implemented advanced measures to our already strict health and safety procedures, and are following all guidelines set out by governing authorities. Reid’s Place operates under a Covid Safe Wedding Industry Plan and Covid Safe Retail Food Service Industry Plan.
Check in and you’re good to go! Reid’s Place is using the new Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe the next time you visit.
All you need to do is:
visit www.covid19.qld.gov.au/check-in-qld for links to download the app from Google Play or Apple App stores
enter your details once when you first open the app
open the app when you next visit us
select ‘Check in Now’ and scan or enter our code.
Using this digital check in means your details will be stored securely by the Queensland Government for 56 days to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing (if needed). The Check In Qld app is safe, secure and private. By using it, you are helping Queensland’s pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to stay open, and you can visit us with confidence, knowing you can be contacted quickly and easily if there is any risk of exposure to the virus.
Reid’s Place is taking extra precautions to regularly disinfect all public areas and items such as door handles, chairs, tabletops, and menus. We have reiterated to our service team that if they are showing any symptoms whatsoever that they are not to attend work and will not be able to return without a doctor’s certificate clearing them to do so.
We will continue to closely monitor this ever-changing situation and act accordingly in response to government advice.
Reid’s Place will continue trade as usual. We do however ask, for the health and safety of our guests and staff, that if you are feeling unwell please postpone your visit to us. We are very happy to reschedule any high tea booking to another date or to refund any high tea booked in full of 2 weeks’ notice.
